Latvia's Fundraising School opens 2025 accelerator for ambitious startups
Fundraising School, Latvia’s only specialised accelerator for pre-seed and seed-stage startups, has opened applications for its 2025 programme. The six-week course helps founders secure investment by teaching them to pitch effectively and close deals. Past participants have collectively raised over €5.2 million in the last two years alone. The 2025 programme will run from October to November, offering interactive webinars, hands-on workshops, and direct meetings with investors. A final demo day will give startups the chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of experts. The most promising teams will also compete for cash prizes.
Leading the course are Diāna Lāce-Davidova and Suhas Ghante, both with backgrounds in startups and investment, including experience with Silicon Valley firms. They will guide participants through the challenges of fundraising in a post-pandemic market, where investors expect fast yet sustainable growth. Over 20 venture capital funds, managing a combined €700 million, will take part in the programme. Four founder-mentors—who have successfully raised capital themselves—will share their expertise. Previous attendees have seen strong results, with more than a third receiving follow-up invitations from investors or places in other accelerators. Applications remain open until September 4, 2025.
The programme builds on a track record of success, with alumni securing millions in funding. By connecting founders with investors and mentors, it aims to boost Latvia’s startup ecosystem. The 2025 edition will again focus on practical skills, investor readiness, and real-world fundraising outcomes.
