Oldenburg: Vans Targeted in Tool Thefts in Bloherfelde and Eversten
Oldenburg van break-ins leave tradesmen with €15,000 in losses
Several tradesmen's vans were broken into in Oldenburg's Bloherfelde and Eversten districts, with thieves making off with tools and electrical equipment, police reported.
The incidents occurred between Friday afternoon and Saturday midday. In each case, the perpetrators cut through the side sliding doors of the vehicles before stealing items from inside.
The estimated total loss is between €10,000 and €15,000.
Police have appealed for witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity during the specified timeframe to come forward.
