Omsk hosts major forum to drive lean production and labor efficiency

A three-day event on 'Continuous Development' has begun in Omsk, gathering business leaders and specialists from Regional Competence Centers. Organised by Om1 Омск, the forum aims to boost lean production skills and labour efficiency across the region.

The initiative is part of the federal Labor Productivity project, which falls under the national Effective and Competitive Economy programme. Participants will take part in 40 workshops over the three days. Thirty experts from the Federal Competence Center will lead sessions on lean manufacturing tools and training techniques.

A panel discussion will feature winners of the Lean Production Trainer competition, where they will present their approaches and collect awards. Maxim Papushenko, head of the Federal Competence Center, is also scheduled to speak.

Earlier, specialists from the Omsk Regional Competence Center attended the Trainer School, focusing on accelerating product turnover, uncovering unspoken customer demands, and preventing 'expert autism' in optimisation tasks. Vadim Shulgat, deputy director of the Omsk center, noted that the event unites professionals dedicated to refining production processes and raising productivity.

Those interested in joining the project can submit requests via the proizvoditelnostrf IT platform. The same platform allows participants to exchange information or post advertisements related to the initiative. The forum provides regional enterprises with access to federal expertise and practical tools for process improvement. Businesses can engage with the programme through the proizvoditelnostrf platform, where further details and registration options are available.
