Police have been stationed at Karolina-Burger-Realschule plus in Ludwigshafen to maintain order. Two officers now patrol the school daily after a series of violent incidents. A recent SWR survey found that 39 percent of Realschulen plus in Rhineland-Palatinate report a clear increase in violence, while another 26 percent note partial rises. The school’s full faculty will soon meet to discuss further measures. Police have confirmed they will keep a visible, approachable presence on site for the foreseeable future.
