Portugal's Civil House names Cláudia Ribeiro as new head in leadership shake-up

Cristina Correia has now been appointed to the position of secretary of the Council of State, according to the same statement.

The Presidency of the Republic noted that "these appointments solidify the structure of the Civil House and mark the conclusion of a transition phase carried out with composure and efficiency, ensuring continuity and sound management of ongoing matters."

The statement also highlights that Cláudia Ribeiro "combines recognized competence with a relationship of professional and personal trust built over many years with the President of the Republic, qualifying her to entrust the new head of the Civil House with the responsibility of fulfilling a demanding role that requires great dedication to the service of the state."
