Pregnant woman hospitalized after traffic light failure causes crash in Rödermark
A pregnant woman was rushed to hospital on Monday evening after a collision in Rödermark-Ober-Roden. The crash happened at around 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Hanauer Straße and Frankfurter Straße. Emergency services took her for further checks as a precautionary measure. The accident occurred when the traffic lights at the junction were not working. A 30-year-old man driving a Fiat Punto failed to give way to a Renault, which had the right of way. The impact caused damage estimated at roughly €2,000.
The 29-year-old pregnant passenger in the Fiat was taken to hospital for examination. Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward and contact Dietzenbach police station on +49 6074 837-0.
