Primorye's May Day rally unites workers under solidarity and national pride

May 1 unites millions of people across our country. For Primorye's trade unions, this holiday remains a symbol of creation, social justice, and respect for the working person. In the 140th anniversary year of the May Day movement and the Year of Unity for the Peoples of Russia, the meaning of this date resonates with particular depth, emphasized Dmitry Kravchenko, Chairman of the Primorye Territory Federation of Trade Unions, in his holiday address.

"Dear residents of Primorye, colleagues in the labor movement, and social partners!

On behalf of the Primorye Territory Federation of Trade Unions and myself, I warmly congratulate you on May Day—the Spring and Labor Holiday!

This year, our May Day rally is held under the slogan: 'Solidarity of Russia's Workers—Unity of the Nation!'

For us, this is not just a slogan but a call to action.

We are different, but we stand together!

Together, we fight for fair wages and safe working conditions. Together, we honor labor dynasties and support youth initiatives. Together, we help one another and defend the rights of the working person. This is especially true now, as the fraternal peoples of Russia stand united in the face of external challenges.

Workers in the defense industry, hospitals, and the home front labor around the clock. We bow deeply to you for your heroism! Since the first days of the special military operation, Primorye's trade unions have stood with the front lines and the families of our fighters. We have sent tens of tons of humanitarian aid, helped veterans of the operation adapt to civilian life, retrain for new professions, and find dignified employment.

This is our contribution to the nation's unity—a unity in which protecting the rights of the working person is inseparable from the interests of the state.

Happy holiday, dear residents of Primorye! May your work bring you joy, and may loving families always await you at home. I wish you strong health, prosperity, stability, and confidence in the future!"

—Dmitry Kravchenko, Chairman of the Primorye Territory Federation of Trade Unions, in his May Day address.
