Rhön-Grabfeld bids farewell to Landrat Thomas Habermann after 23 years

After 23 years in office, the district of Rhön-Grabfeld is bidding farewell to its Landrat (district administrator) Thomas Habermann and warmly invites the public to a citizens' festival on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

To mark the end of his term, residents can look forward to a colorful and musical afternoon at the district office, with plenty of food and drink on offer.

Landrat Thomas Habermann wants to say goodbye with a grand public celebration to the people who meant the most to him during his time in office: the citizens of Rhön-Grabfeld. The festivities will kick off at 3:00 PM in front of the district administration building in Bad Neustadt.
