Russia's LDPR ramps up local campaigns ahead of Primorsky elections

PrimaMedia, 30 April.

On the eve of the September elections, the PrimaMedia editorial board talked to Andrey Andreychenco, coordinator of Primorsky Region LDPR, about current work, key initiatives, pre-election mood and interaction with local residents.

  • Andrey Valeryevich, good day. Please tell us about the projects that are currently being implemented within the regional LDPR?
  • We are currently working on a number of large-scale projects. There are traditional areas that are being added with new initiatives. One of the important areas is the preparation of public housing inspectors. We will soon announce a school on housing and communal services issues in the Equator hotel. We have already formed a lecture schedule and are preparing specialists in the field of housing and communal services. We will explain in detail how to initiate such expertise, how to conduct it and formalize the results so that they have legal force.
  • What other areas are in the focus of your work?
  • Undoubtedly, we continue to support a special military operation. We are conducting interviews with participants of the SMO and members of their families, providing address assistance. The legal support center created on the initiative of Leonid Slutsky is operating in Vladivostok at: 100 years of Vladivostok prospect, 32-21. We also regularly send humanitarian aid.

We pay great attention to patriotic education. For example, we recently acted as one of the organizers of the military-field game 'Zarnitsa' in the Nadezhdinsky district. We are confident that such events form a team spirit, responsibility and mutual assistance among young people.

In addition, we actively conduct subbotniks. For us, it is important to talk about the development of the region and with our own hands to make the environment better.

  • Who most often turns to you during receptions? What questions do residents come with?
  • Now there are many appeals from representatives of dacha non-commercial partnerships (DNTP). We regularly go on meetings with their leaders. The problems of dacha residents are quite sufficient: it is connection to electricity, the state of roads, issues of waste disposal. Now dacha residents pay for waste disposal at the tariff for legal entities - this is the highest tariff, which, in my opinion, is unfair, since they are essentially individuals. I am already working on changing this situation and reducing the tariff. Recently, we held a round table with the participation of almost 50 leaders of DNTP, and this work will continue.
  • Has your activity changed in connection with the upcoming elections?
  • Yes, now we have significantly increased the number of meetings with labor collectives. We conduct three or four such meetings a day. Our task is to collect наказы from people so that the party program maximally reflects the real needs of the region's residents. We believe that politics should be formed 'from below', based on the specific requests of society.
