SAMY Alliance reshapes leadership with two strategic promotions amid expansion
SAMY Alliance has reshaped its leadership team with two key promotions. Alex Hill, formerly Executive Creative Director, now takes on the role of Chief Strategy Officer. Meanwhile, Nathan Townsend moves up to Chief Partnerships Officer as the agency group accelerates its expansion plans. Alex Hill first joined SAMY Alliance in 2020 after selling his agency, SHARE Creative, to the group. Since then, he has worked closely with Nathan Townsend, who originally joined SHARE Creative in 2017. Their long-standing collaboration continues as both now step into broader strategic roles.
In his new position, Hill will oversee the group’s global strategy, vision, and market positioning. Townsend, previously Managing Director for Northern Europe, will focus on revenue growth by deepening partnerships and adopting advanced tech platforms.
The promotions follow a period of rapid expansion for SAMY Alliance. Over the past year, the group has acquired multiple businesses, including Content Lab, MDS, and Kurio. Bridgepoint’s recent majority stake in the company has further fuelled its growth ambitions.
Both Hill and Townsend will report directly to CEO Juan Andrés Elhazaz. They will also join SAMY’s global leadership team, helping steer the agency’s next phase of development. The newly created roles reflect SAMY Alliance’s push to strengthen its market presence. Hill’s strategic oversight and Townsend’s partnership-building efforts will support the group’s continued expansion. Their appointments come as the company builds on recent acquisitions and investment.
