Veteran officer Henner Störmer takes charge of Wesel police communications

Henner Störmer, a long-serving officer from Wesel, has taken on a new role as the press spokesperson for the Circular Police Authority Wesel. With over two decades of experience, including a recent stint as duty group leader in Dinslaken, Störmer brings a wealth of knowledge to the position.

Störmer, a native of Wesel and a father of two, has been with the police service since 1995. He has been appointed to the role of press and public relations head, effective 1 December 2023, succeeding Peter Reuters. Störmer's leadership and deployment experience, coupled with his keen sense for communication and organisation, make him an ideal fit for the role.

Ingo Brohl, the head of the circular police, praised Störmer's understanding of the language of both the police and the people in the Wesel district. Störmer has been active in the Circular Police Authority Wesel since 2000 and has been heading the department of press and public relations since mid-June 2025.

Henner Störmer's appointment as the new press spokesperson is expected to strengthen the communication between the police, the public, and media partners in the Wesel district. His extensive experience and understanding of the local community will be invaluable in his new role.
