VFP Communications secures independence in landmark management buyout

VFP Communications has completed a management buyout, becoming fully independent from its former owner, dfv Media Group. The deal, finalised in mid-November 2025, transfers equal ownership to three long-standing executives. This move marks a shift in strategy for both companies as they refocus on their core operations. The new owners—Izabela Sakowicz, Iwona Nawrocka-Kilinowska, and Łukasz Grabczyński—now hold equal shares in the business. Sakowicz has led VFP Communications as managing director for the past three years. Nawrocka-Kilinowska and Grabczyński joined the company in 2024, taking on the roles of CMO and COO respectively.

dfv Media Group’s CEO, Peter Esser, described the buyout as a cooperative step that secures VFP Communications’ future. Thomas Berner, managing director of dfv, also highlighted the strong working relationship between the two firms. He noted the trust and success built over years of collaboration. Under the new arrangement, both companies plan to continue working together. Joint events and shared editorial projects will remain part of their partnership, despite the change in ownership.

The buyout allows dfv Media Group to concentrate on its primary business areas. Meanwhile, VFP Communications enters a new phase under its three co-owners. The agreement ensures ongoing cooperation, with joint initiatives still in place for the foreseeable future.
