Politics with a Twist: Pub Quiz on State Elections Puts Knowledge, Discussion, and Team Spirit Center Stage
On Thursday, March 5, at 7 p.m., the Rotes Haus in Waldkirch will host a pub quiz all about Baden-Württemberg's 2026 state elections—where fun meets civic engagement. The event, held at Emmendinger Straße 3, invites anyone curious to explore the election in an informative yet entertaining way, no prior knowledge required.
Organized by the city of Waldkirch in collaboration with the State Agency for Civic Education in Freiburg, the quiz promises an interactive dive into Baden-Württemberg's electoral system, political backstories, and current state-level issues. Under the banner "BW Votes: Guess Along. Speak Up. Shape the Future," participants—whether in pre-formed teams or as individuals teaming up on-site—will tackle rounds of questions guided by Clara Berger, a representative from the agency.
Snacks will be provided by the WABE team, and attendees are asked to register in advance by email.
