Wiesbaden Honors 31 Master Craftsmen for 50 Years of Dedication and Skill
Wiesbaden marked a significant milestone as Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende presented the gold city plaque to the chamber on its 125th anniversary. The event honoured master craftsmen and women for their lifetime achievements and impact on the city.
The Wiesbaden Chamber of Crafts celebrated 31 master craftsmen and women who passed their exams 40 or 50 years ago. Stefan F"ull, President of the Chamber, commended their courage and commitment to their craft. Holger Balz, district master craftsman, urged the jubilarians to share their knowledge and represent the crafts. Meanwhile, G"unter F. D"oring, deputy district administrator, emphasized the central role of crafts in society and the economy.
The honorees were recognised for their significant contributions to the city's economy, cityscape, and society. The event highlighted the importance of craftsmanship and its practitioners in Wiesbaden's history.
