Wiesbaden's district councils open public meetings on budgets and infrastructure this week
Four district councils in Wiesbaden will hold public meetings this week to address local concerns and upcoming projects. Residents can attend to hear discussions on budgets, infrastructure, and planning initiatives. Each session will also allow time for public questions before the formal agenda begins. The Nordenstadt District Council will start the week with a meeting on Tuesday, May 12, at 7:00 PM. Their focus will be solely on the 2027/2028 budget.
On Wednesday, May 13, three more councils will gather. The Breckenheim District Council meets at 6:00 PM to review municipal heat planning, the 2027/2028 budget, and the 'Neue Mitte Breckenheim' project. Funding allocations will also be on the agenda.
At the same time, the Dotzheim District Council convenes at 6:30 PM. Their topics include the Stegerwaldstraße accommodation facility, the 2027 budget, and plans for a boules court near the local history museum. Municipal heat planning will also be discussed.
Later that evening, the Bierstadt District Council meets at 6:30 PM. Key items include municipal heat planning, the 2027 budget, and traffic safety improvements at the Speierlingstraße/Nauroder Straße intersection. Funding matters will round out their agenda. All meetings are open to the public, giving residents a chance to voice concerns before official discussions start.
