Wolfsburg bus routes face three weeks of detours due to Mörse road closure
Wolfsburg Public Transport (WVG) has announced changes to several bus routes due to a road closure in Mörse. Starting Monday, passengers on multiple lines will face diversions, with possible delays expected over the next three weeks. The disruption begins on May 18 and is set to continue until around June 8. Four key routes—212, 227, 231, and 263—will follow altered paths because of the closure. Line 227 will now include an extra stop at Mörse during this period.
Lines 212, 231, and 263 will also serve the Mörse, Im Dorfe stop, alongside their usual routes. School services on lines 203 and 204, running between Mörse and Stralsunder Ring, will similarly be diverted. These school trips will pick up and drop off at the same additional stop. WVG has asked passengers to plan for potential delays while the diversions remain in place. More information about the changes can be found on the company’s website.
The diversions will affect both regular and school services until early June. Passengers are advised to check online updates for the latest details. WVG has requested patience as the adjustments continue.
