POL-WHV: Traffic Accident on K 93 in Sillenstede
Woman crashes into tree on Mühlenreihe after losing control of car

On February 16, 2026, at approximately 3:50 p.m., a 61-year-old driver was traveling along Mühlenreihe (K 93) from Sillenstede toward Waddewarden when her car skidded on the slippery road while navigating a right-hand curve. The vehicle then crashed head-on into a tree.
The driver sustained apparent minor injuries and was taken to a hospital by ambulance as a precaution. Her car was severely damaged and later recovered by a towing service. In addition to emergency responders, the Sillenstede Volunteer Fire Department was also deployed to the scene.
