Andreas Treichl guest-edits Presse am Sonntag's 17th-anniversary Europe special

The Sunday newspaper Presse am Sonntag is celebrating its 17th anniversary this year. For the special edition, guest editor-in-chief Andreas Treichl has shaped the content around the theme 'Save Europe!'—set to hit stands on March 29. Since its relaunch in 2022, the paper has released five editions, each tackling pressing issues. Past themes included digital transformation, climate sustainability, the challenges to democracy, and the societal impact of artificial intelligence.

Andreas Treichl, chairman of the ERSTE Foundation's supervisory board, took the helm for this anniversary issue. He prepared questionnaires, curated playlists, and conducted interviews with key figures, including Moldovan President Maia Sandu.

The final product of Treichl's editorial work will appear in the March 29 edition. Readers can expect a mix of discussions, expert opinions, and cultural contributions—all centred on Europe's future. The newspaper continues its tradition of blending in-depth analysis with accessible storytelling.
