The show will be broadcast live on ntv and streamed on stern.de.

Merkel, who left office in December 2021, will sit down with stern chief editor Gregor Peter Schmitz for a candid conversation. The duo will delve into a range of topics, including Merkel's time in politics and her thoughts on Germany's present and future. The show, moderated by Schmitz, will air on December 11.

Before her television appearance, Merkel will be in Israel. She will receive an honorary doctorate from the Weizmann Institute of Science on November 10.
