Bad Tölz Police Station Welcomes New Deputy Head Thomas Wackerle
A new deputy head has taken charge at the Bad Tölz police station. Thomas Wackerle, originally from Mittenwald, officially stepped into the role on February 1, 2023. He succeeds Andreas Rohrhofer, who moved to a different position last year. Andreas Rohrhofer had served as deputy head of the Bad Tölz station until autumn 2022. At that time, he transferred to the criminal investigation department in Weilheim. His departure opened the position now filled by Wackerle.
Wackerle brings varied experience to his new role. Over the past few years, he has worked in different areas of policing. His appointment reflects both his background and his commitment to public service. The new deputy has made clear his focus from the start. For Wackerle, being available and supportive for the community remains a top priority.
The change in leadership at Bad Tölz police station marks a shift in responsibilities. Wackerle’s appointment brings fresh experience to the team, while Rohrhofer continues his work in criminal investigations. The station now operates under its updated leadership structure.
