Workshop Offered as Part of Bamberg's International Weeks Against Racism
Bamberg's 2026 Anti-Racism Project Day Unites Students and Teachers
The Migrant Advisory Council of the City of Bamberg (MiB) and the Bamberg Youth Council, together with their partner organizations, are hosting a project day for students and teachers. Held in conjunction with the International Weeks Against Racism, the event is organized in cooperation with the University of Bamberg.
The workshop will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the University of Bamberg (Feldkirchenstraße 21, Lecture Hall 01.37). It will feature interactive sessions for students exploring different dimensions of racism, with a focus on awareness, empowerment, and collective action. The event's theme—"100% Human Dignity: United Against Racism and Far-Right Extremism"—reflects its commitment to fostering inclusion and solidarity.
Teachers will have the opportunity to participate in a dedicated workshop and exchange ideas on addressing these issues in educational settings. Social workers and other professionals may also register if spaces remain available.
Participation is free of charge, but seating is limited. Binding registration is required by March 2, 2026. The full program and registration form are available on the Bamberg Education Region website: https://bildungsregion-bamberg.de/projekttag.
