£300,000 Up for Grabs: Stelios Foundation Backs Young UK Entrepreneurs

The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation has launched a new competition to support young entrepreneurs in the UK. Founders aged 34 or under can apply for a share of £300,000 in cash grants, with the top prize set at £150,000. The initiative aims to boost businesses already generating at least £500,000 in annual revenue.

Applications for the competition will remain open until 23 February 2026. Eligible candidates must run UK-registered businesses and meet the age requirement. Winners will be selected based on key metrics such as profitability, growth potential, and job creation—criteria emphasised by Sir Stelios himself.

The finalists will be announced at a hybrid ceremony in London on 31 March 2026. Beyond the cash prizes, winners will also receive mentorship from Sir Stelios, known for building an 'easy' brand empire across over 200 businesses. His guidance will focus on scaling operations and refining business fundamentals. Last year’s winner, Ayan Mohamed, used the prize money to expand Digitech Oasis, her company specialising in autonomous robotic solutions. The funding helped accelerate growth and create new jobs in the region. This year’s top prize of £150,000, along with second and third prizes of £100,000 and £50,000, will provide similar opportunities for the next cohort of winners.

The competition offers young entrepreneurs both financial support and direct access to Sir Stelios’ expertise. Winners will gain resources to scale their businesses while benefiting from his experience in building successful ventures. The deadline for entries is set for 23 February 2026, with the awards ceremony taking place in London the following month.
