Sverdlovsk's Innovation Cultural Center hits one million visitors in 2025
The Innovation Cultural Center (ICC) in Sverdlovsk Region marked a milestone year in 2025. Its programmes reached record numbers, with over a million visitors and a strong focus on accessibility. Director General Nina Zhuravlyova called the year both successful and symbolic for the organisation. Throughout 2025, the ICC hosted cultural events at regional, federal, and international levels. One standout was the 'Night of the Arts', which drew 237,450 participants from across Sverdlovsk Region. Literary competitions also thrived, attracting 1,336 submissions.
Accessibility remained a priority, with 75% of the ICC’s events adapted for people with disabilities. More than 7,000 individuals took part in these inclusive activities. The 'Reflection Art Rally' project further bridged gaps by offering master classes and events for participants with and without disabilities.
The year closed with another achievement: the ICC welcomed its one-millionth visitor in December. Looking ahead, the centre is preparing for its 10th anniversary in 2026. New projects, concerts, and exhibitions are already in the works to celebrate the occasion. The ICC’s 2025 efforts expanded cultural engagement while ensuring inclusivity. With a million visitors and thousands participating in adapted events, the centre set a foundation for its upcoming anniversary. Plans for 2026 promise to build on this momentum with fresh initiatives.
