Berlin Knife Attack Sparks Police Hunt for Bald Suspect in Tempelhof
A violent assault took place in broad daylight on Monday, July 15, 2024, outside a property on Werderstraße in Berlin’s Tempelhof district. Police are now searching for witnesses and appealing for information about a suspect who attacked a woman with a knife at around 2 p.m. The victim, a woman wearing a headscarf, was approached by an unidentified man who forcibly removed her headscarf before assaulting her. She sustained minor injuries in the attack, which occurred near 17 Werderstraße.
The suspect is described as a man between 35 and 40 years old, standing roughly 5’7” to 5’9” (170–175 cm) tall. He has a European appearance, very fair skin, and is bald with no facial hair. Witnesses noted his distinctive deep voice and the red and green tattoos covering both his arms and chest. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black tank top and carrying a pair of black sunglasses and a slim backpack. Authorities have urged anyone who saw the attack or has relevant details to come forward immediately. Those with information are asked to contact the State Criminal Police Office at Bayernring 44 in Tempelhof.
