Pepper Spray Deployed in Early Morning Clash: Two Injured in Altercation at Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt Station—What Sparked the Confrontation with Security
Brawl at Stuttgart's Bad Cannstatt station leaves two injured after late-night clash
A dispute between a 39-year-old man and two Deutsche Bahn security staff at Stuttgart's Bad Cannstatt station left two people with minor injuries early Wednesday morning. According to the Federal Police, security personnel attempted to remove the man from the station after he allegedly failed to comply with their instructions.
A Federal Police spokesperson initially could not specify why the man was ordered to leave—only that he had reportedly violated station rules. The situation escalated into a physical altercation, during which security officers deployed pepper spray, investigators said. Both the 39-year-old and one of the security guards sustained minor injuries.
