Franziska Ofer exits Munich Live TV after strategic vision clash
The split is taking place "by mutual agreement due to differing views on the company's future direction," according to a statement released from Munich. The company has not provided further details on the substantive disagreements or its future strategic positioning.
In its announcement, Munich Live TV explicitly praised the manager's work, noting that she had previously worked for ARD, among others. The company expressed its "sincere gratitude to Franziska Ofer for her highly committed collaboration, as well as her professional, reliable, and structured approach." Over the past years, it said, she had "delivered key initiatives and driven forward numerous projects in organization, communication, project management, and commercial and marketing processes."
Until her departure at the end of March, managing director Horst Rettig and Christian Altwein, head of corporate development, will take over Ofer's responsibilities. The company has not yet announced a successor. Altwein joined last year from ProSiebenSat.1, as previously reported.
