Youth Parliament: Final Election Results Released
Göttingen's 2026 Youth Parliament election breaks turnout records
The latest issue of Göttingen Statistics Today—publication no. 53—has been released by the City of Göttingen, presenting the official final results of the 2026 Youth Parliament election. The report is now available to the public.
In addition to detailed breakdowns of the results, the publication includes further analysis of the Youth Parliament vote.
More than 4,500 students cast their ballots, with voter turnout rising by roughly eight percentage points compared to the 2024 Youth Parliament election. Nearly two-thirds of participants voted for a candidate from their own school. The new Youth Parliament will consist of 11 female and 20 male representatives from a total of 13 different schools.
The Göttingen Statistics Today No. 53 is available for download via the City of Göttingen's Statistical Information System (GÖSIS).
