Sudden Blaze Engulfs Carport as Hedge Fire Sparks Major Emergency Response in Maulburg

A hedge fire in Maulburg escalated into a larger blaze on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, prompting a significant firefighting operation.

Around noon, flames broke out in a hedge along Am Platz Street. According to police, the fire then spread to an adjacent carport, severely damaging stored items such as gardening tools and trash bins. A parked car was also affected.
