Hit-and-run moped rider leaves Berlin cyclist critically injured near Steglitz
A cyclist was seriously injured in a collision near Steglitz City Park on Friday morning. The incident happened at around 7:45 a.m. on July 12, 2024, close to Hermesweg. Police are now searching for the moped rider involved, who fled the scene after the crash. The cyclist suffered multiple fractures and a head injury after swerving to avoid an oncoming moped. The rider of the moped reportedly made contact with the cyclist before leaving unlawfully.
