IFN Window Group appoints Barbara Desl as new CFO in 2025 leadership reshuffle

IFN Window Group has named Barbara Desl as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She will take over the role on 1 February 2025, replacing Johann Habring after his long tenure. The company, a major European window manufacturer, is also reshaping its leadership team next year. Barbara Desl brings extensive experience from senior roles in the electronics and chemical sectors. Most recently, she served as CFO at Greiner Packaging International. Her appointment follows Johann Habring’s decision to leave IFN after more than 20 years with the company. Habring will step down by mutual agreement in mid-2025.

The executive board at IFN Holding AG will then consist of three members: Desl, current CEO Alfred Schrott, and a newly appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This new CTO position will be introduced on 1 July 2025, marking a restructuring of the board. IFN owns well-known window brands such as Internorm, Topic, GIG, Schlotterer, and Skaala. Desl’s arrival and the creation of the CTO role signal changes in IFN’s leadership strategy. The company will finalise its new board structure by mid-2025. Habring’s departure ends a two-decade career with the window manufacturer.
