Four injured in Oldenburg crash after reckless lane change

A traffic accident on a busy road in Oldenburg left four people injured on Thursday evening. The crash happened just before 10 p.m. after a driver changed lanes without noticing another vehicle in front. The incident began around 9:50 p.m. when an 18-year-old motorist attempted a lane change. They failed to spot a car directly ahead, leading to a collision. The impact set off a chain reaction involving two more vehicles.

Emergency services arrived quickly to treat the injured at the scene. All four individuals suffered only minor injuries and did not require hospitalisation. Police have since launched an investigation into the driver for suspected negligent bodily harm.
