Lukashenko reshuffles Belarus's emergency and diplomatic leadership
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has approved a series of high-level appointments and dismissals. The changes affect both the Emergency Situations Ministry and the country’s diplomatic representation. Several officials have been reassigned or removed from their roles. In the Emergency Situations Ministry, Dmitry Golubev has taken over as deputy minister. His appointment follows the removal of Igor Bolotov, who was discharged from service after losing his position. Another official, Alexander Grinevich, was also dismissed from his previous post.
On the diplomatic front, Vladimir Bespaly has been named Belarus’s permanent and plenipotentiary representative to the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO). The new roles were confirmed through presidential decrees signed by Lukashenko. The reshuffle marks a shift in key positions within Belarus’s emergency services and foreign policy. The newly appointed officials will now take up their duties, while those removed have left their posts. The changes come as part of broader personnel adjustments ordered by the president.
