Motorcyclist injured in Buckow collision after driver's sudden lane change

Emergency responders were alerted to a traffic accident in Buckow yesterday evening. According to initial findings, a 63-year-old driver was traveling along Rudower Straße toward Neuköllner Straße in the right lane at around 7:45 p.m. When he attempted to swerve to avoid a vehicle turning right, he reportedly merged into the left lane, colliding with a 54-year-old motorcyclist riding there. The 54-year-old was injured in the crash and taken to a hospital for treatment.
The case has been handed over to the specialized traffic crimes unit of Police Directorate 4 (South) for further investigation.
