Pedestrian injured after Berlin car crash traps him between vehicles
A traffic accident in Berlin’s Moabit district left a 34-year-old man with leg injuries yesterday afternoon. The crash happened on Huttenstraße when a Volkswagen skidded and hit a parked Hyundai just before 5:45 p.m. The incident began when a 20-year-old driver lost control of his Volkswagen. The car veered off course and collided with a Hyundai parked on the right side of the road. The force of the impact trapped a pedestrian between the two vehicles.
The 34-year-old man suffered leg injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the driver escaped unharmed. Authorities have now handed the case over to the specialised investigative unit of Police Directorate 2 (West).
The injured man remains under medical care following the collision. Police continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
