Pennsylvania Woman, 23, Found Dead in Apartment After Missing Work Shift
A 23-year-old woman from Telford Borough, Pennsylvania, was found dead in her apartment on Sunday. The discovery followed concerns raised by her family and co-workers after she failed to appear for work over the weekend. Authorities have now launched an investigation into her death.
Maria Popol was last expected at Don Leo Restaurant and Grocery, where she had worked for six to eight months. She was scheduled to help at a large party on Saturday but never arrived. Co-worker Margie Domiguez grew worried when Popol did not show up and could not be reached.
Popol's family later reported her missing, heightening concerns among those who knew her. On Sunday, her body was found inside her Telford Borough apartment. The Bucks County Coroner's Office has since ruled her death a homicide.
The case remains under active investigation by local authorities. No further details about suspects or motives have been released. Anyone with information has been urged to come forward.
