Romanian Startup interviewsUp Aims to Revolutionize Job Interviews with AI

A new recruitment platform called interviewsUp has launched, aiming to transform how companies conduct job interviews. Founded by three Romanian entrepreneurs, the tool focuses on structured, skill-based assessments to improve hiring quality. Its creators believe better interviews will cut costly mistakes and strengthen team collaboration. The platform was developed by Beatrice Galațanu, Mihaela Roșu, and Elvis Apostol. Galațanu, the CEO, brings over 16 years of experience in HR and entrepreneurship. She stresses that interviewsUp helps HR teams and hiring managers work together more effectively.

Unlike traditional interviews, the system provides a library of soft skills, clear assessment criteria, and thousands of expert-approved questions. An AI tool is also built in to assist with evaluations. The founders argue that soft skills matter more than ever as AI takes over routine tasks. Mihaela Roșu, the CMO, highlights a common problem: many companies struggle to properly assess soft skills during recruitment. Elvis Apostol, the CTO, agrees, noting that these abilities often determine long-term success. The platform aims to reduce hiring errors, which can cost businesses up to 30% of an employee’s annual salary.

interviewsUp offers companies a way to streamline interviews and make better hiring decisions. By focusing on structured assessments and soft skills, the platform targets inefficiencies in recruitment. The founders plan to expand its use across industries where talent selection remains a challenge.
