Six Arrested After Late-Night Bar Brawl Leaves Seven Injured in Schöneberg

A violent clash in a Schöneberg bar has left seven people injured. Police are now investigating six men on suspicion of breach of the peace and grievous bodily harm. The incident unfolded late at night after a heated argument turned physical. The altercation began just before 11:30 p.m. on Martin-Luther-Straße. Two groups inside the bar became involved in a dispute that quickly escalated. Witnesses reported that six men—aged 22, 33, 34, 35, 36, and 38—allegedly attacked the other group.

Bar staff called the police as the situation worsened. Officers arrived and managed to separate the groups, bringing the violence under control. Seven people suffered injuries in the attack, including five men aged 36, 37, 38, 39, and 48, as well as a 34-year-old woman. A 33-year-old woman who attempted to intervene was also hurt. Five of the injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The case has since been handed over to a specialised unit within Police Directorate 4 (South), which covers the area.

The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities examining the circumstances of the attack. Those injured have received medical attention, while the six suspects face potential charges. Police have not yet released further details on possible motives or arrests.
