Stolen Skoda recovered in Berlin traffic stop with burglary tools inside
A stolen Skoda was recovered during a routine traffic stop in Berlin’s Kreuzberg district. Police officers spotted the vehicle near Carl-Herz-Ufer around 5:30 p.m. and conducted a search after pulling it over. Inside the car, officers found suspected stolen property along with burglary tools. Two individuals—a 19-year-old driver and a 17-year-old passenger—were present at the time.
The 19-year-old suspect was arrested and later transferred to the youth division of Directorate 4 (South). Meanwhile, the 17-year-old passenger was fingerprinted before being released into her mother’s custody.
The recovered Skoda remains in police possession as part of the ongoing investigation. Authorities continue to examine the evidence found during the search.
