Police Report: Teen Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Fürth Collision—Rescue Helicopter Deployed
Teen motorcyclist critically injured in Fürth highway collision with car
FÜRTH (OTS)—A 16-year-old motorcyclist from the Bergstraße district was traveling along Federal Highway 38 from Krumbach toward the Gumpener Kreuz interchange on Friday afternoon (March 27) at around 12:30 p.m. when he collided with an oncoming car in a curve. The teenager sustained serious but, according to current investigations, non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a hospital by rescue helicopter. The car's driver and a child passenger remained unharmed.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident. At the request of the Darmstadt Public Prosecutor's Office, a forensic expert has been called in. The road remains closed for the helicopter landing, rescue operations, and accident documentation.
