adam&eveDDB has hired Martin Bassot as its new Strategy Partner. The agency announced the appointment, bringing in a strategist with a track record of award-winning campaigns and global experience. Bassot joins from Colenso BBDO in New Zealand, where he held a senior leadership role in planning. Bassot arrives with a strong reputation in brand and communications strategy. His work includes high-profile campaigns like Pedigree’s Adoptable and Whiskas’ Meowzer for MARS Petcare. He also led Spark New Zealand’s Killabyte campaign, which won the Spikes Asia Grand Prix in Gaming.

At Colenso BBDO, he served as Group Planning Director and Deputy Head of Planning. There, he guided strategic efforts for major clients and shaped the agency’s planning department. His career spans media, digital, and integrated creative agencies, with experience working for brands such as Nike, Samsung, and Sainsbury’s. Will Grundy, Chief Strategy Officer at adam&eveDDB, welcomed Bassot by calling him a *weapons-grade strategist*. Grundy highlighted his extensive portfolio of *world-class work* and noted that Bassot will report directly to him. Bassot himself expressed enthusiasm about joining the team and contributing to the agency’s next chapter.
