Berlin stabbing leaves 21-year-old injured after Prenzlauer Berg dispute
A stabbing took place in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg district on Saturday evening. The incident began as a dispute between two men before turning violent on Danziger Straße. Police are now searching for the attacker, who fled in a car after the assault.
The confrontation escalated when one man pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the upper body. The victim, aged 21, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. Emergency services arrived quickly and took him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The assailant immediately left the scene in a vehicle. Authorities have not yet determined the direction he took or his current whereabouts. Investigators are reviewing witness accounts and any available surveillance footage to identify the suspect.
The victim remains in hospital, where his condition is stable. Police continue to search for the attacker, urging anyone with information to come forward. The motive behind the dispute is still under investigation.
