Man arrested for stealing luxury underwear in Recklinghausen store
A man was caught shoplifting in Recklinghausen's city center late Wednesday afternoon and is now being held in pretrial detention. The 28-year-old had concealed two high-end sets of underwear in his jacket at a clothing store on Schaumburgstraße before walking out without paying. Store security detained him, and police later took him into custody. During checks, authorities discovered that the man had no fixed address. A warrant for pretrial detention was subsequently issued.
