Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Finally Unfurls Its Own Official Flag After Seven Years

Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate (PCPC) has finally been granted its own component flag, seven years after its establishment. The flag, a symbol of unity and discipline, was approved by the Director General of Police (DGP) office on November 10, 2025. Until recently, PCPC did not have a component flag to call its own. The new flag serves as a mark of recognition and institutional honour, distinguishing PCPC from other commissionerates. It represents the distinct identity and pride of the PCPC, which was established on 15th August 2018. The approval of the component flag was a result of the efforts of Pimpri-Chinchwad Commissioner of Police IPS Vinoy Kumar Choubey. The flag will now be used to represent PCPC during official ceremonies and state-level competitions. The approval of the component flag is a significant milestone for PCPC. It not only recognises the unique character of the commissionerate but also serves as a source of pride and unity for its personnel.
