Dortmund Police: Physical Altercation on Mallinckrodtstraße
Dortmund hit-and-run leaves man critically injured after violent street brawl
According to initial findings, a physical altercation broke out between two men on Mallinckrodtstraße near house number 242 at around 2 p.m. on April 19.
One of the two fleeing suspects struck the victim, causing him to fall onto the roadway. A vehicle was unable to swerve in time, ran over the man, and left him with life-threatening injuries.
The two men then fled in the direction of Dortmund Harbor and Blücher Park, respectively. The vehicle involved in the collision with the victim also left the scene.
The two men can be described as follows:

- Male
- Approximately 30 years old
- Black cap or beanie
- Dark brown jacket
- Light blue jeans
- Black sneakers
- Gray backpack with dark accents
- Suspect:
- Male
- Approximately 30 years old
- Black cap or beanie
- Dark blue jacket with a round patch/logo on the back (possibly the brand Stone Island)
- Dark jeans
- White sneakers
The vehicle involved may be a dark compact car.
Dortmund Police are now appealing for witnesses who may have relevant information about the fleeing suspects or the vehicle that left the scene.
The call for witnesses specifically targets the driver of a turquoise Mercedes AMG, who was directly behind the incident and may have observed the accident, as well as a witness who left the scene with one of the suspects.
