Two teens arrested after armed robbery at Bochum gas station
Bochum (ots) Two young men, aged 19 and 16, robbed a gas station at 361 Wittener Straße in Bochum on Thursday, March 26.
At around 1:20 p.m., the two masked suspects entered the sales area and threatened a 45-year-old employee with a screwdriver. After stealing various tobacco products and cash from the register, they fled toward Werner Hellweg.
During an immediate manhunt, officers located and provisionally arrested the two fugitives near Havkenscheider Straße.
The suspects, from Grebenstein and Wesseling, were taken into police custody.
Detectives have launched an investigation into the incident.
