2025 Northern Leaders list reveals 74 rising stars across the North
BusinessCloud has released its 2025 Northern Leaders list, showcasing 74 new names from across the North West, North East, and Yorkshire & Humberside. The list highlights influential figures from sectors like business, charity, sport, and politics, with over 90 women recognised this year. The annual ranking celebrates leaders who have made a significant impact in their fields. Among those included are Nicola Merritt, CEO of Cortus Advisory Group, who expressed gratitude for being recognised alongside other talented professionals. Clare Roberts OBE, CEO at Kids Planet, and Stuart Clarke MBE, founder of Leeds Digital, also shared their honour at being featured.
Dawn Huntrod, regional director North at Make UK, and Louise Stephenson, partner at DRAX Executive, were similarly acknowledged. Stephenson described the inclusion as overwhelming, while Huntrod praised the recognition of her work. The event is backed by headline sponsor OBI, along with CG, GM Business Growth Hub, Rochdale Development Agency, Lockton, and J.P. Morgan Private Bank. All listed leaders will be invited to the 2025 Northern Leaders awards dinner, taking place at KPMG in Manchester on November 20th.
